The smith
The HGX1 offers the necessary smooth and secure movements that are vital for a smith machine, utilising high-quality 25mm self-aligning linear bearings.
With a focus on strength and ergonomics, the smith machine bar is designed with an impressive 30mm diameter, offering both durability and comfort.
Effortlessly load and adjust the height for your exercises using the user-friendly 14 secure steel racking points.
Prioritise safety with adjustable stoppers that offer multiple height options, guaranteeing optimal user protection throughout your workout.
The pulleys
The HGX1 is equipped with an essential high and low pulley system that plays a vital role in its versatility. These pulleys serve as anchor points for the provided attachments, allowing for a diverse range of exercise options utilizing the 80kg weight stack.
The flys
With the HGX1, you have instant access to the rear delt and chest fly system, delivering impressive power. Benefit from 9 adjustable angle settings to ensure strict form and optimal range of motion.

The stack
Next Generation PVC Iron Composite weight stack – TEN YEAR WARRANTY. BRUTEforce engineers have created a new 77kg (170lbs) weight stack with 1:1 ratio pulley system.
Total weight 77kg (170lbs). Top Plate 5kg (11lbs). Each Plate: 6kg (13.2lbs).

BRUTEforce® TEN YEAR WARRANTY
During the first ten (10) years from purchase date if any fault appears in your weight plates BRUTEforce® will repair or make a replacement free of charge. BRUTEforce® has selected Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) for the casings of their weight plate stacks with the filing being “iron cement” to create the desired weight. PVC is a high strength thermoplastic material. It is very dense, ranking high for hardness and durability with an excellent tensile strength. These properties make it idea for this application and resilient enough to justify BRUTEforce® 10-year warranty.

Hip Hip its arrived, I had it on back order for over 5 weeks but it was definitely worth waiting for. Some small improvements to the one they had on the showroom floor making it even better. Very impressed with the amount of exercises you can do on it and the folding feature is a big plus. The weight stack being 80kgs was my only worry but being one to one ratio it is definitely enough. Some leg extension machines on home gyms are pretty average but this one is very good and the chest fly part is also very good. All in all over the moon thanks guys. 🙂 🙂

We purchased this for the whole family wife, two boys 9 and 18 and our beautiful daughter 16. We are all using it regularly and saving us on gym costs. Our oldest boy and daughter are very athletic and love the smith machine for leg and chest day and the seated extension and fly movement is my favourite. It’s constructed very well and was easy to make up.

If were talking about the actual machine that is quiet good, but the mix up with the shipping company was really bad. They did not call before delivery and were very rude when I just enquired why they were late. I dont blame seller and they were very understanding.

It has less features than other functional trainers but for me thats a plus being less complicated and very easy to fold. The seated leg extension and rear shoulder fly movement are great features which very few other machine have. The Smith machine is nice and solid and all in all the complete machine is towards the upper level of quality. Good mob to deal with.

Its always the little detail that makes the difference, like the smith machine doubling for a hold down bar when your doing lat pull downs, the simple but very effective fold away option, just what a needed to fit it in my garage. all works good and not that difficult to put together just a little time consuming.
